Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to GOOD DEAL ("GOOD DEAL," "we," "us," or "our"), an online marketplace that enables user-to-user auctions and fixed-price listings with escrow-protected payments. By creating an account, browsing listings, placing bids, or listing items for sale, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

GOOD DEAL acts as a venue and facilitator between buyers and sellers. We are not a party to the underlying transaction and do not take ownership of any listed item.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Accounts are non-transferable.

GOOD DEAL reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the platform or its users.

3. Bidding Rules

All auctions on GOOD DEAL run for a fixed one-hour duration from the time the listing is published. A bid is a binding commitment to purchase the item at the bid price if you are the highest bidder at auction close.

The minimum next bid must exceed the current highest bid by the required bid increment. When you place a bid, GOOD DEAL places a pre-authorization hold on your payment method for the bid amount; no funds are charged unless you win.

If you are outbid, the hold on your previous bid is released. If you are the highest bidder at close, your held funds are captured and the transaction is created. Anti-sniping protection may extend an auction's end time when late bids are placed.

Retracting a bid is not permitted except in exceptional circumstances (for example, an obvious seller error in the listing). Contact support promptly if you believe a retraction is warranted.

4. Selling & Listings

Sellers may list items as auctions, fixed-price ("Buy It Now"), or both. Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, photographs, condition, and shipping information. Misrepresentation may result in listing removal, account action, and forfeiture of payouts.

Sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and identity verification before payouts are released. Listing capacity may be limited by your subscription tier.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. For Buy It Now purchases, the buyer is charged immediately. For auctions, the winning bidder's pre-authorized hold is captured at auction close.

Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery (or the escrow period elapses without a dispute). GOOD DEAL deducts a platform commission from the seller's payout before releasing the net amount to the seller's connected Stripe account.

By using the platform you authorize GOOD DEAL and Stripe to charge, hold, capture, and refund amounts in accordance with these Terms and the Refund & Return Policy.

6. Prohibited Items

You may not list or sell any of the following on GOOD DEAL:

  • Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods, including replicas that infringe trademarks.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
  • Drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.
  • Adult content, services, or exploitative material.
  • Live animals or regulated wildlife products.
  • Personal data, identity documents, or financial account credentials.
  • Hazardous, toxic, or flammable materials restricted by carriers.
  • Items that infringe another party's intellectual property rights.

GOOD DEAL may remove any prohibited listing at its discretion, cancel related transactions, and withhold payouts where appropriate.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Sellers must ship items using the carrier and method disclosed in the listing and provide tracking where available. Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, and the selected carrier, unless the seller offers free shipping.

Buyers should confirm delivery through the platform once the item arrives so escrow can be released to the seller.

8. Dispute Resolution

If a buyer believes an item is significantly not as described, not received, or otherwise defective, the buyer should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the seller via the in-app messaging system.

If the issue is not resolved, the buyer may open a dispute through GOOD DEAL before escrow is released. GOOD DEAL may review messages, listing details, and tracking information, and may refund the buyer from the held funds, partial-release to the seller, or require return of the item.

GOOD DEAL's dispute decisions are made in good faith and are final with respect to the disposition of escrow funds. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Fees & Subscriptions

GOOD DEAL charges a commission on completed sales, as displayed at listing and checkout. Optional seller subscriptions and listing promotions are billed on a recurring or one-time basis through Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

10. Liability & Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." GOOD DEAL does not guarantee that any listing is accurate, that any auction will complete, or that a seller will ship. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GOOD DEAL's liability for direct damages is limited to the platform fees attributable to the transaction giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to GOOD DEAL support through the in-app Help center.
